Dorothy E. Squires
Dorothy E. Squires, 94, of Bethel Park, formerly of Fredericktown, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018.
She was born November 9, 1923, in Ginger Hill, a daughter of the late Harry L. and Laura Fitch Ewing.
In September 1941, she married Charles L. Squires M.D., who is deceased. They were married for 65 years.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Jerry Ewing (Kathy) Squires of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Jay Lloyd Squires; grandchildren Ryan (Jennifer) Squires, Scott C. (Christina) Squires and Courtney (Jeff) Kozelski; and great-grandchildren Norah Rose, Quinlan Ewing, Natalie Elizabeth and Niall Ewan.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Miale.
Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother. She spent 69 years protecting and caring for her son, Jay.
Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, September 29, in Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, 412-221-3333. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
