Donald Lee Howes Jr.

Donald Lee Howes Jr., 59, of Rices Landing, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, due to injuries sustained in an auto accident.

He was born October 5, 1958, in Washington, a son of the late Donald Lee and Mary Ellen Lewis Howes Sr.

Mr. Howes was a 1976 graduate of Beth-Center High School.

He was employed by Advanced Personal Care, Clarksville, in the maintenance and custodial department for many years.

Donald was a member of Young Men’s Club, Brownsville, and Miner’s Club, Richeyville.

He enjoyed working on cars and fixing things and was an animal lover. He especially love his dog, Kayden.

Surviving are his wife, Denise Jacobs Howes; two daughters, Cynthia Howes of Skylight, Mont., and Sam Howes (Doug Fricks) of McKeesport; son Sean M. McDaniel (Megan) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; brother William Howes (Nora McMasters) of Fredericktown; three sisters, Brenda Zangla (Michael) of Marianna, Donna Larkin (Joseph) of Jefferson, and Georgie Stotka (Keith) of Rices Landing; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 1, with Pastor Gary Cobert officiating.
