William C. Weber
William C. “Bill” Weber, 81, of Burgettstown, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 28, 2018, in his home.
He was born August 13, 1937, a son of the late John and Anna DeLuca Weber.
Bill retired from Pittsburgh Operating Engineers Local 66, where he was a heavy equipment operator.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed gardening, spending time at his camp at Holiday Camplands in Andover, Ohio, and enjoying a Jack and Coke with his many friends.
He was a member of Joffre Owls Club Nest 1294, Burgettstown American Legion and Italian Club, Slovan Polish Club, Atlasburg Veterans of Foreign Wars, Cherry Valley Sportsman’s Club, Midway Veterans of Foreign Wars and SNPJ and Pymatuming Sportsman’s Association.
His wife, Mary Ervin Weber, whom he married in 1967, passed away December 4, 2015.
Surviving are his daughter, Belinda Coperich and husband Richard of Wellsburg, W.Va.; a son, Lawrence “Bucky” Weber of Burgettstown; two granddaughters, Bandrea Weber Stankus and husband Derric of Bulger, whom Bill had the honor of walking down the aisle at her wedding September 15, 2018, and Jessica Weber of Burgettstown; his dear friend and “adopted daughter,” Sandy Kosol and husband Richard Steve Kosol; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents and wife, are a son, John Weber; two brothers, John and Lawrence Weber; and a sister, Lucille Cook.
A blessing service and interment for Bill and Mary will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, in Holy Angels Mausoleum Chapel of Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 100 Resurrection Road, Moon Township, PA 15108, with the Rev. Ben Vaghetto officiating. Everyone planning to attend is asked to meet at the cemetery.
