Richard Lee Cannon Sr.
Richard Lee Cannon Sr., 70, of Prosperity, died Friday, September 28, 2018.
He was born March 11, 1948, a son of the late Robert and Edith Schumman Cannon.
Mr. Cannon was a 1966 graduate of Monessen High School. He graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education.
He loved music, American history and, above all, his family.
Surviving are his partner of 30 years, Cheryl Sicchitano; a son, Ryan Sicchitano (Kim); a daughter, Randee Kovatch (Ed); two sisters, Joyce Oliverio and Shirley Engle; his dear friend, Ryan Sicchitano (Constance); seven grandchildren; and his two favorite little girls, Nina and Illy.
He also leaves behind his best buddy, his dog, Luke.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Robert; a sister, Judy; and a son, Richard Lee Cannon Jr.
As requested by the deceased, there will be no public visitation and burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to National Brain Tumor Society, directed toward research of glioblastoma, ASPCA or Animal Friends of Pittsburgh.
