Vallie A. Rozanc

Vallie A. “Butch” Rozanc, 77, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 30, 2018, in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.

He was born July 16, 1941, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Vallie and Elizabeth Popka Rozanc.

Butch lived his entire life in Canonsburg and had been a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

He was a graduate of DePaul School for Hearing and Speech, and had been employed as a machinist for 38 years at Southerland Lumber.

Mr. Rozanc was an avid car enthusiast, enjoyed football and faithfully followed all of his grandson’s, Drew, sporting activities. He loved his family and his dog, Mya.

On December 30, 1965, he married his devoted wife of 52 years, Linda Bucci.

Also left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Linda (Mark) Engel and Virginia O’Block, both of Strabane; his beloved grandson, Drew Engel; a sister, Josie (Robert) Nill of Bethel Park; a brother, Ronnie (Marlene) Rozanc of Albuquerque, N.M.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his daughter, Elizabeth “Janet” Rozanc, who passed away September 28, 2018.

Friends and family are welcome from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m., the time of services, Tuesday October 2, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, Darla Tripoli LFD, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
