Andrew “Andy” Sculimbrene, 46, of Pleasantville, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019, in his home.

Andy was born September 15, 1972, in Pittsburgh, to Sarah Engel Sculimbrene of Bethel Park and the late Frank Anthony Sculimbrene. He married Renee DeMetro on September 26, 1998, in Indiana, Pa.

He was a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Andy was employed as a salesman with Route 8 Auto Sales in Oil City at the time of his death.

He loved the outdoors, camping, fly fishing, ice fishing, riding 4-wheelers with Shaffer and making a stop at the Lake’s for a beverage or to watch a sporting event. Andy also enjoyed reading and golfing. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. He especially loved being with his loving wife of 20 years, watching his son Roman’s sporting events, eating good food and watching movies with his daughter, Riley.

Andy is survived by his wife, Renee of Pleasantville; his children, Riley and Roman; a sister, Paula Sculimbrene and husband Andy Keddie of Venetia; his father- and mother-in-law, Larry and Nora DeMetro; a brother-in-law, Bud DeMetro and companion Amanda; sisters-in-law Mona Mion and husband David and Nicole Floyd and husband Michael; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 North Washington Street, Titusville, PA 16354, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, February 2, with a funeral service to follow, conducted by the Rev. Mark Rusnak with Aseracare Hospice in Erie. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pleasantville.

Andy was a kind, fun-loving guy whose passing will affect everyone he knew.
