Sherry M. Verelst
Sherry M. Verelst, 46, of Oakdale, died suddenly Thursday, January 31, 2019.
She was born May 16, 1973, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Armand J. Verelst III of North Fayette Township and Joyce Toward of Oakdale.
Mrs. Verelst was a graduate of Duquesne University and was employed in the telecommunication field.
She enjoyed running, especially 5K races, and was very creative, working with her hands doing crafting and painting. She was an excellent mother.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Kelly Henke of Bulger; sons Evan Kelly Henke and Tegan Kade Henke, at home; stepson, Dustin James Henke; brothers Richard (Cassie) Verelst of North Fayette Township and Steven (Roberta Wilson) Verelst of Oakdale; a nephew, Austin, and niece, Lilly Verelst; uncles Dan, Francis and Bruce Toward; her stepmother, Valerie; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, 724-926-2800, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 6. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home for the future education of her sons.
