Donna M. Cowden
Donna M. Cowden, 69 of Scenery Hill, PA passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 in her home.
She was born October 29, 1949 in Washington, PA a daughter of the late Donald D Brady and Dorothy Dulaney Brady who survives.
Mrs. Cowden was a 1967 graduate of Bentworth High School.
She was employed as the deli manager at Shop & Save, Washington for 20 years retiring in 2014.
Donna was a member of the PA Farm Bureau and the Davidson Methodist Church, Glyde, PA where she helped with Sunday School.
She enjoyed spending time with family and working on the family farm raising lambs.
On June 29, 1969 she married James R. Cowden who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are three children, Annette Franell (David), James Dean Cowden and Kari Beckett (Brian); three grandchildren, Wyatt and Lauren Beckett and Brady Franell; three sisters, Pat Brady Fugitt (Howard), Becky Villanova (Dan) and Nancy Brady; several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Davidson United Methodist Church 1129 E.
