Bernice Wallace Snyder
Bernice Wallace Snyder, 89, of Oakdale, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 5, 2019, in her home, with her daughters by her side. She was born September 23, 1929, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Daniel P. and Anna B. Krsul Wallace.
Bernice lived most of her life in Carnegie until she moved to the Washington area. She was a member of Daughters of Erin. Bernice was a licensed practical nurse who was employed by Dr. John E. Weber for 30 years. On May 30, 1950, she married Warren L. Snyder, who passed away November 2, 2009.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Barbara Jones of Oakdale and Patrice (Steve) Fowler of Indianapolis, Indiana; five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, was a brother Richard D. Wallace.
Friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc. Joseph P. Private services and interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
