Gerald A. Pellegrini

Gerald A. “Jerry” Pellegrini, 78, of Monongahela (Fallowfield Twp.), died Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Monongahela Valley Hospital.

Born July 1, 1940, in Monongahela, he was the son of Angelo and Jennie Greco Pellegrini.

Jerry was a 1958 graduate of Monongahela High School. He retired as the supervisor for the Washington County Parking Garages and was one of the founding fathers of Fallowfield Twp. Athletic Association, and he was an active supporter of his children’s and grandchildren’s activities. Jerry was also a well-known Cougar Fan in the Charleroi sports community and a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish in Monongahela.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Peggy (Auth) Pellegrini, whom he married July 2, 1966; a son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Antonia Pellegrini of Speers; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tiffany and William Payne of Fallowfield Twp. and Bethany and Dennis J. Logan of Charleroi; 11 grandchildren, Michael Garrow III, Geno, Dominic, Nikko, Gianni and Gabriella Pellegrini, Brennan and Tegan Payne and Kambri, Ryder and Max Logan; and a brother, Ronald Pellegrini of Monongahela.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Friday, January 11, in St. Damien of Molokai Parish, Monongahela, with Father Kevin Dominik as celebrant. Inurnment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
