Andrew Raymond “Butch” DeRose
Andrew Raymond “Butch” DeRose, 72, of McDonald, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Bridgeville Rehabilitation and Care Center. He was born July 24, 1946 in Allentown, the son of Andrew A. and Gloria H. Ehrig DeRose.
Butch was a Vietnam veteran having served in the US Navy. He was formerly employed at ACS in Robinson as a computer technician and for the last three years, delivered papers for the Observer-Reporter. He enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles and antique cars.
He is survived by his fiance’, Cheryl Koteles; six stepchildren, Jule Koteles and wife Jessica of Clinton, Brandon Koteles and wife Lauren of Canonsburg, Farren Koteles of Cecil, Tyler Koteles and fiance’ Angelina of Monongahela, Jagr Koteles of Hickory, Blaze Koteles at home; numerous stepgrandchildren; sister, Karen Graber and husband David; brother, Scott DeRose and wife Margie.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 18, with the Rev. Mark Schollaert officiating. Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery, Finleyville.
