Roberta A. Nice Huxley, 49, of Burgettstown, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her bedside after a brief illness on Monday evening, January 28, 2019 in the Washington Hospital.

She was born on March 28, 1969, a daughter of Mary Ann Benish Nice of Washington and the late Raymond Lee Nice.

Roberta attended the Burgettstown High School and was employed at the Burgettstown Hardware Store for over 20 years before working as the deli Manager for Petrucci’s IGA for the past four years.

She was a member of the Burgettstown VFW and enjoyed coloring and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her spouse, Thomas Huxley of Burgettstown; her four children, Tommy Huxley and wife Felicia of Hanover Twp., Josh Huxley and wife Haley of Aliquippa, Tiffany Huxley and fiance John Stover of Bulger and Jessica Huxley of Burgettstown; three granddaughters, Maddie Greenslate, Serenity and Thea Huxley; a sister, Cheryl Ann Nice of Langeloth; and several nieces and nephews.

She also leaves behind her dog, Harley.

Deceased, in addition to her father, is a brother, Raymond Nice.

Family and friends will be received from 4 until the time of services at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 1, in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her family in care of the funeral home.
