Carole J. Youger
Carole J. Youger, 86, of Oregon, formerly of Carmichaels, died Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
She was born April 12, 1933, in Belle Vernon, a daughter of the late Clyde D. and Mildred Stanger Smith.
Carole was a homemaker and lived most of her life in the Carmichaels area.
On September 14, 1950, she married Kenneth E. Youger, who died April 12, 1971.
Carole enjoyed quilting and cross stitching in her spare time.
Surviving are six children, Lois Jean (Michael) Beecher of Salem, Ore., Timothy D. (Avita) Youger of Salem, Ore., Douglas E. Youger of Independence, Mo., Michael L. Youger of Lexington, Mo., Bonnie L. Walker of Waynesburg and Scott A. (Mary) Youger of Garards Fort; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Robert J. Youger and David W. Youger; a great-grandson, Deatton Gonzallos; and a brother, Walter Smith.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 20, in McClellandtown Presbyterian Cemetery (Church Hill Cemetery), 301 McClellandtown-Lambert Road, McClellandtown, PA 15458. Entrusted with arrangements is Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor.
