Stella Fiem
Stella Fiem, 89, of Cokeburg, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 29, 1929, in Russelton, a daughter of the late John Rozak and Martha Maier-Krupzig.
Mrs. Fiem was co-owner of The Shanty Bar, Cokeburg. She later became a homemaker and was a lifelong member of St. Katherine Drexel Parish, former member of Rosary Society and also a member of the Polish Club of Bentleyville.
She loved to cook, bake, can vegetables, garden and feed everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time at the family camp in Port Allegheny, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and was extremely devoted to all of them.
She is survived by two daughters, Darlene “Tunie” Error and Rose Ann Chaney (Richard) of Cokeburg; son Frank R. Fiem (Debbie) of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Derek Chaney, Kevin Chaney (Ellen), Scott Chaney (Jennifer) and Cissi Zarbell; two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Colton Chaney; and several nieces and nephews, including one special nephew, Jim Snyder (Judy) of Ellsworth.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Frank Fiem, who died October 14, 2010; brother John P. Rozak; sister Helen Hill; son-in-law Peter Error; and granddaughter Sondra Dee Chaney.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, followed at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Katherine Drexel Parish, Richeyville Campus, with the Rev. Donald Chortos as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.
