Roxanna Ullom
Roxanna Ullom, 86, of Hickory, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 18, 2020, in her home.
She was born April 15, 1934, in Washington, a daughter of the late Elizabeth Ullom.
Roxanne lived most of her life in Canonsburg and the past 20 years in Hickory with her daughter and son-in-law. She was a graduate of Chartiers High School, enjoyed bingo and was an avid Steelers fan.
Surviving are her son-in-law, John M. Pozonsky, with whom she made her home; granddaughter Jordon of Canonsburg; and her devoted aunt, Shirley Gisoni of Washington.
Roxanna was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are her beloved daughter, Michele D. Pozonsky, who passed away February 1, 2020, and her aunt, Frances Dodd.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family visitation limited to 10 persons will be held Wednesday, April 22, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Family and friends are encouraged to log on to the funeral home’s website, www.salandrafunerals.com at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday to participate in the celebration of Ms. Ullom’s life, with services by the Rev. Seth D. Booher of New Day Assembly of God Church, Upper St. Clair. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
