Marlyn Faye Keener, 78, of Chardon, Ohio, formerly of Mt. Morris, died at 6:05 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2020, in the Heather Hill Care Community Nursing Home in Chardon.

She was born Thursday, February 26, 1942, in Mt. Morris, a daughter of the late Evie C. Keener and Edna Nedrow Keener.

Marlyn had worked several years as a manager in a restaurant.

Surviving are one daughter, Pamela Ruth Taylor of Wyclisse, Ohio; three sons, Richard L. Donley of Painesville, Ohio, Barry Donley of Chesterland, Ohio, and Charles M. Donley of Madison Heights, Mich.; five grandchildren; six sisters, Carolyn McFarland of Mt. Morris, Barbara Ellen Haines of Mt. Morris, Freda Scott of Fairmont, W.Va., Nina Hayhurst of Morgantown, W.Va., Margaret Gotses of Fairmont, W.Va., Shirley Hartley of Mt. Morris; one brother, Jack Keener of Mapletown; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are one grandchild; one sister, Betty Haines; two brothers, Robert “Buck” Keener and Darrell Keener.

There will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 11, at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mt. Morris. The family asks that social distancing be observed and face masks be worn for everyone’s protection.
