Charlene Y. Davis, 77, of Canonsburg, joined her husband with her Lord, Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

She was born August 11, 1943, in Westland, a daughter of Alice Marie Butler and James McClain.

Charlene was a 1960 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.

She was a health care attendant at Western Center for many years and Visiting Angels, where she retired earlier this year.

Mrs. Davis was an active member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she was involved in many activities including the Celestial Choir and serving as a Deaconess.

On June 29, 1963, she married John W. Davis, who died Friday, December 4, 2020.

Surviving are a daughter, Tracy Davis of Canonsburg; two sons, Wayne Davis (Heidi) of Bridgeville and John Davis Jr. of Canonsburg; three grandchildren, Ryan, Jett and Jade Davis; a sister, Alice Washington (Solomon Jr.) of Westland; two brothers, William D. “Kirbay” McClain of Las Vegas, Nev. and James McClain of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a sister, Vanessa Arlette Edmonds; and a brother, Joseph McClain.

Due to present circumstances, services for Charlene and John will be private.
