Thomas G. Lane Jr.
Thomas “Tommy” G. Lane Jr. passed away unexpectedly, December 7, 2020, at his home.
Tommy graduated from McGuffey High School in 1998 and later studied at Penn State University in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He was the owner and founder of Gunn Show Entertainment. Tommy was a combat veteran of the Iraq War, a truck driver in a transportation company hauling jet fuel, a combat medic in the U.S. Army, and a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army where he was honorably discharged. He was also an Eagle Scout, a radio DJ, a city fireman for Washington and was employed by the Veterans Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Tommy enjoyed music, movies, deer hunting and ice hockey.
He is survived by his mother, Beverly Lane of Washington; father, Thomas G. Lane Sr. (Kathryn) of West Alexander; sister, Jean Calderone (Samuel) of Hanna, Indiana; daughter, Madelynne Lane of Pittsburgh; and ex-wife, Susan Lane of Pittsburgh.
Tommy loved his country and devoted his life to helping people. In his memory please donate to the Office of Veteran Affairs, 1000 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
