Alice Mae Chapman
Alice Mae Chapman, 96, of Washington, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in Hawthorne Woods.
She was born February 2, 1924, in Finleyville, a daughter of John Jacob and Margaret Seiler.
Mrs. Chapman graduated from Monongahela High School and Boyd Secretary School, Pittsburgh.
She was a homemaker who loved animals.
Mrs. Chapman enjoyed her friends and the staff at Senior Life Washington and Hawthorne Woods, as well as the staff at Studio 7 Hair Salon, where she enjoyed getting her hair done.
On December 14, 1943, she married John William Chapman, who died September 29, 2020.
Also surviving are three daughters, Linda (Stan) Schooler of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, Joan (Jeff) Chapman of Washington, and Jackie (James) Campbell of Sycamore; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all services are private.
