She grew up in Burgettstown and graduated from Union High School in Burgettstown (1947). She then graduated from Penn Commercial Business School in Washington (1948), was employed by PPG in Canonsburg, and married in 1951.
Nova was a dedicated and active member of Ruthfred Lutheran Church in Bethel Park since 1976. She loved her Lord and Savior deeply, with Jesus always in her heart. She taught Sunday school, vacation Bible school and was a part of many Bible study groups and church activities over the years. Nova was also a long-time volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Nova’s many gifts included being a kind-hearted friend and listener, making people feel welcome and special, and giving of herself and to the many charities that she supported. Her sweet nature, love of people and her easy laugh were evident throughout her life and are already sorely missed.
