Irene H. Spin
Irene H. Spin, 97, of Houston, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in Premiere Washington Health Center. She was born April 19, 1923, in Burgettstown, a daughter of the late John and Anna Horanich Haba.
Mrs. Spin married Anthony “Chumma” Spin of Houston June 29, 1947.
She was a homemaker having formally worked for 22 years at Plasteel Products Corp. of Washington, in the accounting and secretarial field. She was last employed by William A. Bailey Company, a subdivision of Piatt Industries, Washington, retiring in 1978.
She was a Roman Catholic and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Canonsburg. She belonged to the Greek Catholic Lodge and Fraternity.
Irene was a fabulous baker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her daughter, Donna Fazzolari and husband Terry of Washington; son James Spin of Daytona Beach, Fla.; grandchildren Amy Romanetti and Mark Fazzolari; brothers Andrew Haba of Maryland, and Joseph Haba and his wife, Sandy of Delaware.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Anthony “Chumma” Spin; and brothers John, Edward and George Haba.
Due to the COVID- 19 pandemic, private visitation and services will be held for the family in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner / supervisor, 304 W. Pike Street, Canonsburg, 624-745-8120.
