Elmer Stewart Leech
Elmer Stewart Leech, 92, of Washington, died December 22, 2020, in Baptist Homes.
He was born December 10, 1928, a son of the late John Elmer and Mabel Stewart Leech.
He was a graduate of Trinity High School. Mr Leech worked for Steeltron in Washington as well as Millcraft Industries for many years. He was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where he served as a deacon and usher. He helped with the AWANA at church and also played on their dartball team.
He married Bessie K. Leech, with whom he shared many years of marriage until her passing March 22, 2007.
He is survived by four children, Kathy (Bob) Endler, Wayne (Kathleen) Leech, Joyce Leech and Diane Cotton Southwick; a sister, Louise Blough; four grandchildren, Kendall (Brittany) Leech, William (Michelle) Leech, Johnathen Leech and Taylor Cotton III; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 29.
