Mary Catherine Krese Klopack
Mary Catherine Krese Klopack, 99, of Washington, died Sunday, December 27, 2020, surrounded by her family.
She was born November 9, 1921, in Westland, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Veronica Supancik Krese.
Mrs. Klopack was a graduate of Hickory High School and after graduation she worked in the accounting department of Pittsburgh Coal Company’s Westland office. After her marriage, she continued that career in Cleveland, Ohio. She then worked alongside her husband, a licensed funeral director, for 45 years in Pittsburgh.
She was an exceptional homemaker and baker of delicious pies.
She was the beloved wife of 67 years of Thomas Klopack Jr. Mr. Klopack died in 2010.
Surviving are a cherished son, Tom (Adrienne) Klopack of San Diego, Calif.; a cherished daughter, Mary Kay (Gary) Gordon of Washington; and three loving grandchildren, Ben, Devon and Alexis Klopack.
All services will be private and have been entrusted to Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Directors, Inc., Charles R. Piatt, owner/supervisor, Dr. Lawrence K. Donovan, director, and Andrew C.
