Xander Allen
Xander Allen, 7, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, February 20, 2020, in Canonsburg General Hospital, after an extended illness.
He was born October 26, 2012, in Canonsburg, a son of Derek Allen and Chelsea Banks. He was a student at Pennsylvania School For Blind Children, in Oakland.
Surviving are his father, Derrick Allen; his mother, Chelsea Banks; his maternal grandmother, Beverly Banks; his maternal great-grandmother, Magda Gibbs Brown; his brother, Kallan Banks; half brothers, Randal Patterson, Cameron Allen and Ethan Allen; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, John M. Banks.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
