Douglas Robbins
Douglas Robbins, 82, of Uniontown, died Monday, January 20, 2020.
He was born March 21, 1937, in Alabama.
He proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force, retiring after more than 20 years.
He was a member of the American Legion, enjoyed sports and loved the Auburn Tigers.
Surviving are his son, Douglas Matthew Robbins of Canonsburg; daughter Tracy (Joe) Yakubik of Charleroi; eight grandchildren, Bri-Aylah, Carter, Morgan, David, Dylan (Jenna), Clarence “Bucky,” Cody and Zack; and four great-grandchildren, Dylan Jr., Brantley, Aubrey and Dallas.
Mr. Robbins was preceded in death by his son, David Thomas Robbins.
Family and friends are welcome from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township, with full military rites accorded by Veterans of Foreigh Wars 191 Honor Guard.
