Raymond J. Phillips
Raymond J. Phillips, 82, of Canonsburg, died Monday, July 13, 2020.
He was born March 24, 1938, in Canonsburg, a son of Joseph and Teresa Slesinski Phillips.
Mr. Phillips was a member of St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg. He enjoyed cars, and mostly, spending time with his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, in Germany 1961-1962.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a large builder at Cooper Industries, as well as owning and operating Phillips Auto Body.
On October 31, 1964, he married his loving wife of more than 55 years, Patricia Louise Cwiklinski Phillips, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his sons, Raymond J. Phillips Jr. of Canonsburg, Patrick Phillips of Canonsburg, and Jeffrey (Cynthia) Phillips of Venetia; his brother, Joseph (Evelyn) Phillips of Canonsburg; four grandchildren, Madison Rae, MaKenna, Tess and Leah; his niece, Melissa Cwiklinski; and nephew Jason Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Due to uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation and services are private. A celebration of Mr. Phillips’ life will be held at a future date.
