Perry McDaniel

Perry “Mac” McDaniel, 74, of Clarksville, died Friday, June 26, 2020 at home.

He was born January 8, 1941, in Floyd, VA, a son of the late Edgar Lewis and Naddine Hairston McDaniel.

Mac served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a retired worker from Mayview State Hospital, a farmer and owned and operated Precious Moments PC Homes, Inc., with his wife Sandy.

He was a member of Fordyce United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post #954, Jefferson.

On October 18, 1972, he married Sandy Howes, who died March 15, 2004.

On November 5, 2015, he married Diana Huffman, who survives.

Also surviving are his four children, Jeanine (Charles) Burwell of Clarksville, Christian (Dawn) McDaniel of Marianna, Sean McDaniel of Clarksville and George Martisko of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Kara Burwell, Travis Burwell, Christian Burwell, Abigail McDaniel, Easton McDaniel and Kyleigh McDaniel; a great-granddaughter, Tailynne Blake; and a sister, Wander Mitchell of Floyd, VA.

Deceased are two brothers, Tony McDaniel and Tellis Ira McDaniel in infancy.

In following CDC guidelines of wearing masks and social distancing friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, with Pastor Phil Yost officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna. Military Honors will be accorded by the Greene County Honor Guard. Condolences may be expressed online at www.behm-funeralhomes.com.
