Gary W. Crouser Sr.
Gary W. Crouser, Sr., died Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in Clark County, Ohio.
He was born October 12, 1962, in Washington, a son of the late James Franklin and Mary Arlene Scott Crouser.
Gary had an associate’s degree as an auto mechanic, from Rosedale Technical College.
He worked as an industrial painter for his lifelong best friend Dave McAnany at McAnany and Sons.
Gary was a Nascar fan and loved Chevys. He was a collector of Dale Earnhardt memorabilia. In his free time, he enjoyed working on his Camaro and spending time with his grandchildren.
On February 14, 2003, in Washington, he married his lifelong sweetheart, Victoria Mrenak, who survives.
Also surviving are five sons, James Crouser, of Washington, Gary W. (Brittany Roberts) Crouser, Jr., of Avella, Kenneth Crouser, of Washington, Christopher Crouser, of Washington, and a grandson who they legally adopted and were raising as their own son, Kenvic Crouser, of Washington; three brothers, James (Michelle) Crouser, of Cambridge, Ohio, Brian Crouser, of Bentleyville, and his twin brother, Larry Crouser, of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren, Gianna Fordham, Landon Fries, Lily Crouser, Garrett Crouser, Thomas Crouser, Makenna Crouser, and Harper Crouser; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, David and Scott Crouser.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, in the Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Ave., Washington, Douglas M. Jones, supervisor, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 4. Interment will follow in West Union Cemetery, Green County.
