Cheer B. Curlin McCallister
Cheer B. Curlin McCallister, 76, of Fairmont, W.Va., formerly of Waynesburg, died at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2020, in the home of her daughter, Frankie.
She was born Saturday, April 1, 1944, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Alba A. “Shorty” Curlin and Delphine V. Sagges Curlin.
Cheer attended the First Christian Church in Waynesburg. She enjoyed reading books, playing cards, bingo and doing puzzles. She loved laughing as much as possible. Cheer had worked at Imperial Cleaners in Waynesburg for several years and was a homemaker. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are two daughters, Frankie Perkins and husband Donald of Fairmont, W.Va., and their son, Noah Marsh, who cared for her until her passing, and Jonnie McCallister of Morgantown, W.Va.; three other grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; one sister, Gay Byard of Richfield, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her wonderful friends, Bonnie and John Bedilion of Waynesburg, and Shirley Henderson of Ohio.
Deceased are two sisters, Joy Lee Hill and Happy Doreen Grim; one brother, Glee S. Curlin; and one great-granddaughter, Shane Elizabeth.
