Charles R. Bear Jr.
Charles R. “Rich” Bear Jr., 69, of Washington, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 19, 2020, in his home. He was born August 15, 1951, in Washington, D.C., a son of the late Charles R. Sr. and Helen Harlan Bear.
Rich lived most of his life in Washington and prior to his retirement had been employed as a Union Carpenter with Giffon Interiors. He received a Bachelor in English at The University of Pittsburgh and loved animals, music, art and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Linda Schoedel Bear; two daughters, Margaret (Thomas) Brown and Christina Mason, both of Washington; two grandchildren, Robert and Haley Brown; and two great-grandchildren.
