Norma Virginia Moore McKinney
Norma Virginia Moore McKinney, 87, of Washington, passed into the arms of God, and loved ones who preceded her in death, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, in her home.
She was born September 19, 1933, in Hickory, a daughter of Verner McDonald and Alice Elizabeth Ayers Moore.
Norma attended Hickory High School.
Norma was a devoted employee of Brockway Glass, Canonsburg Hospital and a member of Washington Alliance Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, the late Carl McKinney. She treasured every moment spent with Carl, enjoyed cooking for and serving others and spoiling all of her pets, including her most recent dog, Buddy.
Surviving are daughters, Kathy (Tom) Kelley of Washington and Cindy Emerick of Aliquippa; a son, Dr. Mark A. Conklin (Joy) of Brooks, Ga.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Gary Ludwin and Keith Ludwin, are deceased.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, husband and sons, are her brothers, Eugene, Richard, Ralph and James Moore; sisters, Ruth Pakisz, Helen Strike and Irene Carter; and her granddaughter, Marcy.
She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Vizyak of Weirton, W.Va.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, April 5, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
A brief service will follow, with Pastor Clarence Croscutt and Pastor Brian Greenleaf officiating.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private burial service will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
