Ronald G. Lira, 83, of Bulger, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 31, 2021, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Ronald was born November 7, 1937, in Joffre, a son of the late Attilio and Dora Secco Lira.

Mr. Lira was a retired brick layer and a lifetime member of the Local 9 Brick Layers Union. Ronald enjoyed watching car and horse racing, watching Pittsburgh sports and his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Norma Lukan Lira; children, Nancy Wingertsahn, Pamela (Scott) Plance, David (Linda) Lira and Kevin Lira; grandchildren, Philip Wingertsahn, Maria (Landon) Lira, David (Caylie) Lira, Meagen (Dante) Pagliarulo, Tyler Lira and Cal Lira; great-grandchildren, Laine, Daelyn, Rhett, Ona, Derek and a soon-to-be sixth great-grandchild.

At the request of the deceased, all services will be private and entrusted to Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 106 St. John Street, Midway, 724-796-3301.
