John A. Beddow
John A. Beddow, 90, of Amwell Township, died Saturday, April 3, 2021, in Presbyterian Senior Care Southmont. He was born December 15, 1930, in Washington, a son of the late Logan and Della Hillberry Beddow.
He was a graduate of Trinity High School and then went on to serve in the United States Army. He retired from PennDot as a truck driver. Mr. Beddow also drove a school bus for many years.
On May 2, 1951, he married Ruth Conner Beddow, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage before her passing October 14, 2007.
He is survived by four children, Kathy (Worley) McClellan, David (Barb) Beddow, Cindy (Jim) Bradbury, Mark Beddow; five grandchildren, Eric McClellan, Summer (Jeff) Hayes, Jim (Heather) Bradbury, Amber Beddow, Kendra Beddow; great-grandchildren Ashley (Danny) Mikolay, Camryn and Logan McClellan, Faith, Gavin and Dominic Amos, Havanna, Hunter and Cassie Hayes, Tristan-James, Serenity and Destiny Bradbury; a great-great-grandson, Landon Hayes; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his wife and parents, are a granddaughter, Dana McClellan; sister June Leech; and two brothers, Clarence and Logan Beddow.
At the request of the deceased, all services are private and under the direction of Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington.
