David Allan Siuzdak

David Allan Siuzdak, 53, of Cecil, died Friday, April 16, 2021, in his home.

He was born October 7, 1967, in Colorado Springs, Colo., a son of Allan and Frances Prymak Siuzdak.

He was raised in Cumberland, R.I. David earned his Associate of Science degree from Community College of Rhode Island, then graduated from Athens State College with a Bachelor of Science degree and went on to earn his Masters degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.

He enjoyed listening to music, cycling and target shooting.

He worked as a Certified Lead Auditor for Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc., where he was awarded the 2020 QMS Auditor of Distinction. For most of his career he was a research polymer scientist starting with Lilly Industries in Indianapolis, Ind., then he worked for Engineered Polymers Solutions in Morengo, Ill., and Hollingworth and Vose in Hawkinsville, Ga.

In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife, Kathy Siuzdak; sons Joshua and Jadon Siuzdak, all of Cecil; a sister, Kathleen (Darin) Weber; and niece Sarah Weber of Cherry Hill, N.J.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Michael and Anna Prymak; and paternal grandparents Joseph and Sophie Siuzdak.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 19, in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, where prayers of transfer will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, followed by a Christian Funeral Mass held in Corpus Christi Parish, St. Mary Church, Cecil at 10 a.m., with Fr. David Rombold officiating.

Interment will be private.
