Douglas Edward Wytovich
Douglas Edward Wytovich, 70, of Cokeburg, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, in his home.
He was born November 1, 1950, in Monongahela, a son of the late Michael Wytovich, and Catherine Betty Oftrosky Wytovich of Washington, who survives.
Mr. Wytovich was a 1968 graduate of Bentworth High School.
Doug proudly and honorably served with the U.S. Army’s Eighth Army.
He was employed as an underground coal miner at Beth Energy Mine 60, retiring after 40 years of service.
Mr. Wytovich was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, the Cokeburg Moose and the Ellsworth Sportsman’s Club.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, particularly when he took his boys. His grandchildren were also very special to him. Doug dedicated his life to his family, especially his sons.
On October 30, 1971, he married Huisu Christine Wytovich, who died August 2, 2016. Together they celebrated 44 years of marriage.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are three sons, Stephen D. and James William Wytovich, both of Cokeburg, and Lee Wytovich (Janine) of Bentleyville; three grandchildren, Charleigh, Tanner and Jaxon Wytovich; two brothers, Michael Wytovich Jr. (Paula) and David Wytovich (Georgianna), both of Scenery Hill; one sister, Nancy Benhart (Drew) of Pittsburgh; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his father and wife, is an infant brother, Michael Douglas Wytovich.
Funeral services will be private.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlee’s Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville.
