Lue Ann Pawlick
Lue Ann Pawlick, of McMurray, formerly of Carmichaels, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, after a short and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born November 19, 1960, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Luella A. and the late John D. Galatic of Carmichaels.
Lue Ann graduated from Carmichaels Area High School in 1978. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in 1982 and later her Master of Business Administration, both from California University of Pennsylvania.
Lue Ann was a very successful entrepreneur, business woman, real estate agent, economic developer who spent most of her career building her own businesses, or helping develop businesses in the Mon Valley area of Pennsylvania. Her involvement in middle Monongahela Industrial Development Association (MIDA) helped bring industry to the area. Her energy, knowledge and personal relationships will be missed by many.
Lue Ann was a successful owner of her own companies she started and grew organically, which included, Frac Water Resources. Her business success was as much a part of her as her desire to share time with others.
Lue Ann’s life was one of celebration centered around loving and entertaining those close to her. Lue Ann’s ability to have gatherings was unparalleled. She had many circles of friends who wanted her with them while celebrating special occasions. If there were no special occasions happening, she created one, and each person invited was a special guest. Lue Ann loved deeply.
Lue Ann is survived by her son and greatest part of her legacy, Peter Pawlick; the love of her life, Lindo Rendina; her mother, Luella A. Galatic; brothers, John V. Galatic (Sandy) and Alexander Galatic (Colleen); and sisters, Valerie Mihota (John), Julie D. Thistlewaite and Madelynne K. Galatic (Mike Karafa).
Because of the limited ability for the funeral home to accommodate all those close to Lue Ann, there will be a viewing for family only in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 23. A service of remembrance will be held at 4 p.m.
A private burial will take place later in Laurel Point Cemetery.
