Edna Lee Patterson

Edna Lee Patterson, 78, of Cecil Township, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born August 27, 1942, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Ira Quinton and Anna Elva Gilkeson McConnell.

She was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, watching TV and spending time with family.

She worked as a LPN for Country Meadows as well as for Cameron Wellness Center and provided childcare at a nursery.

Surviving are sons, Scott (Javier) Patterson of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Donald Patterson of Langhorn, Bruce (Sonya) Patterson Sr. of Fork Union, Va., Rodney Patterson of South Park; daughter, Stefanie Patterson of Canonsburg; grandchildren, Jessica, Bruce Jr., Kyrsten, Tyler, Dillon and Abraham Patterson, Nicole (Cole) Lawson; great-grandsons, Waylon and Bennett Lawson; brother, Brian (Brenda) McConnell of Lake of Ozarks, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Ralston Patterson; sister, Patricia Preteroti; and brothers, Ronald, Michael and Gerald McConnell.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 1, in the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321.

Additional viewing will be from 12 to 1 p.m., with the service following, all at Venice Presbyterian Church, Monday, August 2, with Pastor Gary Chorpenning officiating.

Interment will follow in the Venice Cemetery.
