Betty Jane Hoffman
Betty Jane Hoffman, 84, of Finleyville, died Friday, July 30, 2021, in Dunlevy Manor.
She was born October 20, 1936, in Venetia, a daughter of the late John and Violet Cushey Wicks.
Betty was retired from the former Pro Cleaners in Finleyville. She was a member of both Wrights UM Church and First Baptist Church of Finleyville and enjoyed crocheting and camping.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara (Mark) Czeczely of Canonsburg; granddaughter, Catherine Czeczely of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Wayne Wicks of Pleasant Hills and Ron Wicks of Monongahela; sisters, Joyce Maers and Barbara Maers both of Finleyville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are her husband, Albert Hoffman; son, Larry Hoffman; brother, John Wicks; and sister, Wilma Harding.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 4, at Kegel Funeral Home Inc. David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 5, in the funeral home with Rev. Richard Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
