Karl E. Gary
Karl E. Gary, 82, of West Finley, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Transitions Health Care in Washington.
He was born March 16, 1939, in West Finley Greene County, a son of the late Charles and Mary Workman Gary.
Karl is a 1959 graduate of West Greene High School, served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964.
He married Woneeda Pierson Gary on December 10, 1962 and were happily married for 58 years.
Karl worked as a diesel mechanic for Washington International Truck Sales and Service for 32 years.
He enjoyed hunting and mowing his lawn. Karl was a member of the Richhill Township and Graysville Fire Department.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is a daughter, Laura (Kevin) Rogers of West Finley; a sister, Mary (Ralph) Wiley of Sycamore; and one grandson, Bryan Rogers of West Finley.
Deceased in addition to his parents is a sister, Opal McCracken.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kay Berdine officiating. Full Military Honors will be conducted at the funeral home by the Greene County Honor Guard immediately following the service. Burial will be private at the Braddock Cemetery.
