Nadine Altieri Bykens

Nadine “Dena” Altieri Bykens, 64, of Hickory, went to be with her dogs and husband Monday, August 2, 2021, in Washington Hospital.

She was born December 22, 1956, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Sylvan and Mary Matyuf Altieri.

She worked as a cable coordinator for Black Box, Lawrence, until retiring in 2019.

She enjoyed dogs, dogs and more dogs, playing bingo with all of her lucky charms (that never actually helped her win), Halloween, horror movies, all TLC shows, ice cream, feeding the birds and deer, going to concerts, family and especially attending her granddaughter, Arabella’s games and dance showcases.

Surviving are daughter, Hayley (Matthew) Martin of Houston; granddaughter, Arabella Martin; brothers, Richard (Patty) Altieri of New Castle and Sylvan (Sandy) Altieri of Bethel Park. Also surviving are many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Bykens in 2016; and brothers, Daniel, David and Raymond Altieri.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 5, in the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 6.

Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park, Canonsburg.
