Robert William Sorg
Robert William Sorg, 67, of Brooksville, Fla., formerly of Washington, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021, in his home. He was born April 18, 1954, in Pittsburgh, and moved to Washington in 1980 before retiring to Florida in 2013.
He was an investigator for 28 years for the Department of Labor Wage and Hour, where he investigated overtime and child labor violations.
He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and attending concerts, but most of all he loved being a doting grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Betty Ann; son and daughter-in-law Robert “Bob” and Kelli Sorg of Spring Hill, Fla.; sister Linda Marler of the Philippines; brother and sister-in-law Raymond and Carol Sorg of Butler; sister-in-law Mary Lou Gockel; his grandson, Rowan James Sorg; and nephews James Gockel and Jeffrey Sorg.
