Wilma M. Haney
Wilma M. Haney, formerly of Brookline, passed away peacefully on her 88th birthday, in the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 6, 1933, in Pittsburgh, to William and Veronica Scheuring.
Wilma attended the Bible Chapel in Peters Township and was unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Wilma enjoyed cooking, baking and especially time with her grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Gregory (Cheri) Haney of Center Township, Veronica (Donald) Coleman of Canonsburg, Sean (Annalisa) Haney of Wilson, N.C., and Brian Haney of Moon; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was one of 11 brothers and sisters.
Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-812, where services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 11. Interment will follow in the Most Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
