Homer H. Thomas Jr.
Homer H. Thomas Jr., 42, of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 9, 2021, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born May 21, 1979, in Washington, a son of the late Homer H. Thomas Sr. and Lauretta Thomas of Washington.
Homer was a 1997 graduate of Trinity High School. He was the owner and operator of Quality One Concrete. Homer enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed attending his children’s sporting events. Homer was a true family man whose family meant everything to him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
On July 3, 2004, he married his high school sweetheart, Brianne M. Thomas, who survives. The couple had been together for 26 years. Also surviving are a son, Dominic Thomas, and two daughters, Olivia Thomas and Ava Thomas, all at home; two sisters, Wilma Quan of the state of California and Mandy Thomas of Washington; mother-in-law Beth Maioli Jenkins; two brothers-in-law, Bobby and Brett Jenkins; and eight nephews.
In addition to his father, Homer was preceded in death by a daughter, Kyla Thomas; and by both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m., the hour of a blessing service, Friday, August 13, in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, Park N. Crosier, director. Father John Lynam will officiate. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Clearview Federal Credit Union, 105 E. Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317, where a fund has been established for Homer’s three children. All contribution checks should be made out to Brianne M. Thomas and mailed directly to the Clearview Federal Credit Union.
