Matilda A. Myers
Matilda A. Myers, 95, of Washington, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021, in Premier Washington Health Center.
She was born August 28, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of the late Charles D. and Mary V. Marland Myers.
She was a 1944 graduate of Washington High School and attended Washington Seminary 1948-1949. She retired from MetLife Insurance Company as an assistant manager.
Matilda was a member of Church of the Covenant. She loved playing organ in the local orchestra and played violin. She loved doing ceramics and painting them, loved dachshund dogs and all animals.
Left to cherish her memory are brother Richard M. (Wilma V.) Myers of Washington; niece Anne Marie (Jim) Myers Insana of Pensacola, Fla.; nephew Richard E. (Lisa) Myers of Mars; and great-nephews Richard J. Myers and Corbin E. Myers.
Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 PA-136, Eighty Four, PA 15330, in Matilda’s memory.
