Edward Stanley Uniejewski
Edward Stanley Uniejewski, 79, of Washington, died Saturday, August 14, 2021, in Premier Washington Health Center.
He was born April 30, 1942, in Washington, a son of Norma (Tony) Mancina and Chester (Jennie) Uniejewski.
Edward previously worked at McGraw-Edison and Hankison as a fitter/welder.
He attended St. Hilary Church.
Edward enjoyed golf, hunting, gardening, playing cards, and loved to dance. But mostly, he loved spending time with friends and family.
On June 12, 1965, Edward married Marie Lucille Mazza.
In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by son Edward (Darla) Uniejewski Jr.; daughter Denise (Shawn) Kostyak; brothers Raymond (Jean) Uniejewski and Stanley “Stush” (Cindy) Uniejewski; sisters Charlotte (Robert) Day and Patty (Tom) Wolfe; grandchildren Alexa Kostyak (Roger) Hull and Joshua (fiancee Lexie Schlegel) Kostyak; and great-grandchildren Reed and Ryder Hull.
Friends and family will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 19, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 20, with Father Michael Peck officiating.
Edward proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post #175.
