John D. Liggett
John “Jack” D. Liggett, 75, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 15, 2021. Born December 29, 1945, he was a son of the late Annabelle and John P. Liggett.
He was the beloved husband to Barbara Chesnik; loving father to Jason Liggett and Jennifer (Andrew) Allen; cherished Grandpap Jack to Luke and Dean Allen; loving brother to Mark Liggett.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Liggett Dunn. Jack will also be dearly missed by his loving dog, Chloe.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Jack retired from the Pennsylvania State Police. He was an active member of the Elks Club of Washington. Jack was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams and listening to music. He also cherished the time he spent with his grandsons.
A private internment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
