Margaret “Ann” Wallace Bedillion passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, in Thornton, Colo., at the age of 92, with family by her side.

She was born and raised in Midway, to Joseph W. Wallace and Margaret Eller Wallace. At the age of 6, her mother passed. Her father remarried and she looked upon Margaret Brimner Wallace as her second mother.

In 1948, she married Glenn O. Bedillion and had four children, Donna (David) Reedy of Wiggins, Colo., Glenda Starrett of West Virginia, Robert (Sandra) Bedillion of Avella and Barb Donohue of Thornton.

In 1984, she moved to Phoenix, Ariz., and became an in-home care associate. In 1988, she drove her clients U-Haul to Grand Junction, Colo., to continue their care. Following their deaths, she continued the profession of home care and built very close relationships with those that she cared for. She became a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and maintained her Christian faith through the end of her life.

Subsequently, she moved to Ft. Lupton, Colo., later living in Brighton, Colo., Broomfield, Colo., and finally in Thornton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph W. Wallace, Margaret Eller Wallace, Margaret Brimner Wallace; in-laws W.K. and Eva Bedillion; and brother-in-law James “J.D.” Norris.

She is survived by her four children; her sister, Barbara (Kay) Norris; her grandchildren, Kenneth McElhaney III, Carrie Reedy, Sunny (Reedy) Strohfus, Jessica Bedillion Pace, Dilanne Bedillion, Shaun Donohue, Billy Starrett, Greg Donohue; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was most known for her playful humor/sarcasm, teasing, her love for others, baking cheesecake and pizzelles for family and friends, never met a stranger, love of cardinals, helping others, telling others what to do, and singing hymns.

Long-time favorites were her horse, Babe; cutting Christmas trees from the neighbors field, pulling out her son’s plants, and visiting many covered bridges.

After moving out west, she was able to do a lot of traveling, which she loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Samaritan’s Purse.
