Carol Eileen Malone
Carol Eileen Malone, 75, of Houston, formerly of Washington, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 19, 2021, in Allegheny General Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born August 28, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of the late Joseph and Reba Gregg Mast.
Mrs. Malone was a graduate of McGuffey High School and the Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse for many years.
Mrs. Malone enjoyed gardening, crafting, needle point, working jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
On September 17, 1966, she married Samuel Ted Malone, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Kevin (Deb) Malone of Frederick, Md., and Mark (Ashley) Malone of Latrobe; a daughter, Michelle (Walt) Lober of Houston; a brother, Richard (Yvonne) Mast of Washington; eight grandchildren, Walter, Trey and Lauren Lober, and Zachary, Ian, Nick, Makenna and Kylie Malone; a stepsister, Debbie Majewski Shaw. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her father and mother, Mrs. Malone was preceded in death by her stepfather, Stanley Majewski.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. hour of a funeral service Tuesday, August 24, in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor / director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, Park N. Crosier, director. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
