Michelana Stanley
Michelana “Mickey” Stanley, 93, of Canonsburg, died Friday, August 20, 2021.
She was born January 24, 1928, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Guisseppe and Mary Encandela Livolsi.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a supervisor for Motorola in Arizona, working primarily on government electronics. She enjoyed volunteering at Canonsburg General Hospital.
Mickey was a member of St. Oscar Romaro Parish, where she attended the St. Patrick worship site, and was a member of its Christian Mothers.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward K. Stanley, who died January 31, 2000; her stepchildren, Kip Stanley and Jack Stanley; her brothers, Gus, John, Raymond, Samuel and Louis Livolsi; and her sister, Lena Provenzano.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 23, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, in the funeral home, followed by burial in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
The family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the Washington County City Mission, 84 W. Wheeling Street, Washington, PA, 15301, in Michelana Stanley’s name.
