Nicholas T. Lesko
Nicholas T. Lesko, 77, of Canonsburg, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021.
He was born October 20, 1943, in Strabane, a son of Michael and Eva Gresko Lesko.
Mr. Lesko was a member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as an engineering operator.
He enjoyed sports, and especially spending time with his family.
Surviving are his daughter, Holly (James) Palivoda of Canonsburg; his son, Nicholas T. (Kelly) Lesko II of McDonald; grandchildren Madison, Noah and Jonah Palivoda, Nicholas and Cody Lesko; his nephew, Robert (Marie Kelly) Lesko; great-niece Halie (Cody) Keane; great-nephew Jesse Lesko; and his sister-in-law, Barbara Lesko.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Lesko and Theodore Lesko.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 30, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
A Panachida Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Additional visitation will be held from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, followed by liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Canonsburg.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
